This is day one of a two-part series documenting my adventure as we overland the stunning Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail! We kicked things off at the "Point of Beginning," a historical marker at the trail's southern tip. Although we started a bit late due to travel there, we managed to cover over 100 miles of the approximately 600-mile route, finishing the day in the Mississippi River Town of Prairie du Chien. The drive was captivating, taking us through picturesque farmlands with budding spring crops. We enjoyed the breathtaking views along the Great River Road, which runs alongside the Mississippi River, showcasing some excellent scenic features.
